Ripstar Kite

I had the privilege of having Linda as a kite instructor for both my 13 year old son and myself. Her patience, expertise, teaching skills, enthousiasm, excitement and way of helping everyone on their own level and skills was remarkable. I trusted her to teach my 13 year old without hesitation.

Een review van een 13 jarige leerling: Linda was een hele goede kite instructrice, heel aardig en geeft goede uitleg. Ze is heel duidelijk en ik voelde me heel veilig met de groep. Het kamp was heel leuk en gezellig. Leuke mensen en een goede sweer. Het eten was heel goed en de evenementen die ze organiseerden was ook echt top. Echt genoten van de leuke vakantie en tot de volgende keer.

I found the kitesurfing lessons I had with Anne in Denmark incredibly valuable! She is a very positive instructor who gives constructive feedback as well as compliments. This created a great atmosphere and gave me confidence. She was critical of what I was doing and where I could improve, while also challenging me to think for myself about how to improve. She paid close attention to safety systems and procedures and focused on building my independence, so that I could safely go out on the water on my own as soon as possible. All in all, I learned a lot in a short amount of time, and in a very enjoyable way! I would definitely recommend Anne as a kite instructor!

Wendy geeft heel fijn les, ze voelde aan wat ik nodig had en bleef rustig en kalm lesgeven. Ze bouwde het aan de hand van de veiligheidstappen op waardoor ik grote progressie op het einde maakte. Ze bleef geduldig en support je door de cursus heen, zou zo weer lessen boeken!!

Amazing experience! Wendy was very kind, clear and helpful with teaching me more about kiting and helping me advance further with my skills! She also gave me super helpful tips when I was struggling with certain aspects such as the sliding transition. Moreover, when the wind was more intense and challenging and I was a bit more nervous she was very helpful in making me more confident. Overall simply a great experience :)

Anne heeft de kennis en weet dit op een fijne, rustige manier over te brengen. De focus tijdens de lessen heeft een mooie balans tussen het leren om zelfstandig te kiten en veiligheid op en rond het water. Daar bovenop komt er nog een goede portie enthousiasme bij waarin de liefde voor de sport goed voelbaar is.

The course was structured with a strong focus on kiting safe and independently. Clear explanations were given on setting up the kite, launching it, and landing it. Anne was attentive to everyone's needs and assigned tasks based on their skill level. Anne remained calm and provided encouragement where necessary. A very pleasant instructor to get an introduction to kiting from.

Dave helped me take my very first steps in kitesurfing. From safety procedures and building a feel for the kite, to making my first meters on the board and eventually riding back and forth. What I really appreciated was how Dave tailored his coaching to me as a person and adapted perfectly to my learning curve. He doesn't just explain how to do something, but actually demonstrates it—giving you the right body posture and tools to really understand how to improve yourself. He uses a great step-by-step approach and constantly invites you to reflect on what’s going well and what needs adjustment. There was always a perfect balance between explanation, demonstration, practice, and reflection. Thanks to his teaching style, I made huge progress in just one week! Thank you, Dave!

Wendy was professional, she guided me calmly through all the steps off kitesurfing. What she did great was, staying near me en giving tips every time i tried something new. The steps were clear and the coaching was very positive.

Ik heb een fijne week gehad bij deze kiteschool. Ik heb 2x 2 uur les gehad om wat op te frissen en goed de safety weer door te nemen. Verder keken de instructeurs op het water gewoon met je mee als ze zelf ook op het water waren en er was altijd wel tijd voor een tip of een aanmoediging. Het is goed om te zien dat ze zelf ook zoveel plezier hebben!
