Horizon Surfing Center Kos

1 Woche vor Ort und einem Geschenk (5 Std. Kurs) im Gepäck. Sehr kurzer Weg vom Hotel und eine Kite-Schule zum wohl fühlen. Theorie und Kite-Beherschung am Strand dank toller Ausbilderin schnell erlernt. Leider dann die nächsten Tage wenig und/oder ablandiger Wind :-( bei dem nicht geschult werden kann. Am Abreisetag - was ein Glück - dann endlich auflandiger Wind, aber dafür auch sehr starker (> 30 kn) mit schöner Welle. Frida hat dann auf meine Bitte hin 2x1,5 h Kurs durchgezogen und mir erste Fahrerfahrungen im Wasser ermöglicht. Was ein Glück das wir erst um 17:00 Uhr vom Hotel aus weg mussten!

Das Buchen der Kurse ist per Mail oder WhatsApp einfach und flexibel. Die Instruktoren sind sehr nett und erklären mit viel Geduld und Freude bei der Arbeit. Anreise mit dem Taxi problemlos, wenn man nicht im Hotel neben wohnt.

I had a lot of fun with Mindo and really enjoyed how he introduced me to the sport. I had no prior experience but Mindo did a great job of explaining everything and training me step by step. I specifically enjoyed him taking care that I truly understand the setup and safety things - so that (at some day after some more courses) can also go kite surfing on my own. Also, I could really feel that the individual sessions were building up and I could reuse my learnings for the new challenge. Thanks a lot again!

This kite course was a fantastic shared mother-son experience. From the very first moment, the instructor Mindaugas created such a warm, motivating atmosphere that we felt supported and inspired throughout the entire sessions. The lessons were clear, engaging, and filled with positive energy that kept us excited and motivated and learning was great fun for both of us. We’re now even more motivated to keep going.

Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team – das war ein rundum fantastisches Kitesurf-Grundlage-Kurs. Vom ersten Tag an fühlt man sich absolut professionell und herzlich betreut. Die Kiteschule überzeugt mit topaktuellem, bestens gewartetem Material und einem extrem sympathischen, kompetenten Team. Ein riesiges Dankeschön geht an die Instructors: Mit unglaublich viel Geduld, klaren Anweisungen und genialen Tipps haben sie mir an Land die nötige Sicherheit gegeben. Die Lernfortschritte stellen sich dadurch super schnell ein! Vielen Dank Mike und dem ganzen Team, ich komme bestimmt wieder zu euch.

The centre and team were able to accommodate a last minute kitesurfing holiday (when I mean last minute, it was booked within 24hrs). The instruction and experience was very good and I highly recommend to all.

Die Grundausbildung beim Horizon Surfing Center in Kos, Griechenland war kurz gesagt einfach super! Tolles Team, gut gelegene Station und die Möglichkeit an zwei verschiedenen Spots zu Kiten =) Mein Teacher Toni war sehr geduldig und brachte mich in kurzer Zeit zu den ersten erfolgreichen Wasserstarts.

I had an amazing experience learning to kite foil with Marc! Safety was always his top priority and I felt completely comfortable and confident on the water from day one. What really stood out was how he adapted the lessons to my previous wing foil experience — he knew exactly how to build on what I already understood, making the learning curve smooth and enjoyable. Marc’s teaching style is clear, patient and motivating and his passion for the sport is contagious. I can’t recommend him enough for anyone looking to progress quickly and safely in hydrofoiling!

I have had several hours refresh and waterstart lessons with Fabrice, it was very professional, friendly and fun time from the first minutes! Fabrice took time to check and fine-tune my beginner skills, so that I feel even more confident in and on the water, he has a very supportive, positive attitude to teaching kite surfing. He doesn't compromise on safety and explains in an easy and calm manner, ensuring progressive learning and giving some challenges for the student :) Thanks a lot!
