They guide you by asking the right questions in a way that encourages you to think for yourself and actively find the answers. This approach really helps speed up your learning process and reduces the time you’d otherwise spend figuring out practical skills on your own.

I had the most incredible first kitesurfing experience at Kite Family El Gouna and I truly believe my instructor Abdelrazek (“Abdul”) deserves recognition as one of the best IKO instructors. From the very beginning, safety was taken seriously. There was always a safety boat supervising us on the water, different life jacket options available and I constantly felt safe and supported during every session. What made the biggest difference was Abdelrazek’s teaching. His coaching style is incredibly encouraging, attentive, technical, and motivating at the same time. He always knew exactly what I needed to improve and gave very precise feedback after every attempt. His famous “Yallah bina!” before every waterstart became such a confidence boost 😄 Abdelzazek first made sure I truly understood kite control before progressing to bodydrag and then the board. During my first waterstarts, he even assisted me physically in the water to help me understand the movement and gain confidence. He taught me how to manage the kite’s power without fear and helped me trust both the wind and myself. What impressed me the most is how attentive Abdul saw to my personal needs, fears and goals. Before coming to El Gouna, my personal challenge was simply to ride 3 meters on the board. After only 11 hours of lessons, I went from absolutely zero experience to achieving multiple waterstarts and riding around 30 meters several times. This experience honestly exceeded all my expectations. It was not only about learning kitesurfing, it was a real personal achievement and a huge boost of confidence. I am incredibly proud and grateful and Abdelrazek played a huge role in that journey. The service at Kite Family El Gouna was exceptional. The staff were always present and ready to help immediately whenever we go and came out of the water. During the sessions, they adapted the kite sizes depending on the wind conditions to optimize both safety and progression. Everyone was genuinely kind, attentive and motivated to help us improve. The equipment was also excellent, high-quality gear, solid helmets, comfortable wetsuits, Mystic harnesses, and premium kites from Cabrinha and Core, all in very good condition. Finally, the learning spot is amazing for beginners and co. The shallow lagoon where you can stand almost everywhere makes progression much easier and less stressful and the long pier gives direct easy access to the water. Thank you Abdelrazek (“Abdul”) at Kite Family El Gouna for making my very first kitesurfing experience unforgettable. I genuinely could not have wished for a better instructor.

We booked for 3 hours, for myself and my boyfriend, and he was incredible! The instruction was really clear and we will definitely seek him out again when we return to El Gouna. We saw rapid progress in our skills and feel very confident. He’s really kind and knew when to step in and when to let us learn from our own mistakes. A great balance! Super fun, thank you so much.

Abdelrazek supported me with great motivation and warmth. He explained the fundamentals clearly and showed me directly on the kite where potential mistakes were. As a result, I improved very quickly and was able to make rapid technical progress. He addressed my individual needs and provided very detailed answers to all my questions.
