EXTREME CONTROL ADVENTURES EL CUYO

Cristina is an amazing instructor and I would recommend her to anyone who is taking kiting lessons. She is really good at positive reinforcements and going step by step into building up your kite surfing learning experience. She also takes extra care into safety and also the local standard and etiquettes which is key to becoming a good kiter.

Did my course with Cristina and she's a really good teacher. Patient, clear, never made me feel stupid when I kept messing up the same thing. She explains something, you try it, it doesn't work, and she just adjusts and explains it a different way until it clicks. No pressure, no rushing. I learned more than I expected to in the time I had. There were a couple of moments where I got frustrated with myself and she stayed completely calm about it, which honestly helped more than any technical tip. She's careful about safety too, on the beach and in the water, but not in an annoying way, she just makes sure you know what you're doing before you do it. As a beginner that made a big difference, I felt like I could relax and actually focus on the kite. Gear was in good condition, nothing sketchy. The centre is a nice place to hang around between sessions and everyone there was friendly. I came in not knowing anything and left feeling like I actually know how to kite. Would go back 100%

Cristina was always super-patient and looking for different ways of explaining and demonstrating ideas to get new skills to stick. Also always great communication from her about when conditions were conducive to learning or not. Effectively native English skills in addition to Spanish (plus Italian and some French that I heard!). Thank you Cristina and hope to see you in El Cuyo again soon :)

Cristina is an amazing kitesurf instructor! She was incredibly knowledgeable, caring, and patient and made me feel safe and confident throughout the lesson. I learned a lot and really enjoyed the experience. Highly recommend her!

Extreme Control is a fabulous place to learn all forms of kiting at any level. Nick is a fantastic teacher and I appreciated his clear explanations and focus upon safety! I recommend him without reservation!
