A spectacular experience with an instructor who patiently and diligently took us through the process. Andrei is methodical and meticulous. On our second day of training he opted to hold out and wait to see if conditions changed keeping safety front of mind. Always checking in with us before progressing on. I felt safe and had so much fun. What a beautiful sport! Very thankful for the experience.

Andrei was an amazing teacher! He progressed the course at a comfortable pace and made sure I knew everything thoroughly before proceeding. The last session he had waterproof headsets so we could talk while I was kiting which was very helpful. I progressed quite quickly with his help and he even gave me some advice on obtaining quality used gear. Highly recommend.

A notable aspect of the training was the emphasis on safety, which Andrei diligently upheld throughout the course. Excellent instruction. Found good locations and communicated well via text messaging to land us on good weather days in these spots. Heavy emphasis on safety and self rescue. An overall enjoyable experience while learning and progressing.

The teacher was friendly and competent. The lesson was interesting, very engaging and helpful. I would have appreciated leaving the lesson with a training kite to practice with though. The location was chosen thoughtfully with consideration for wind speed, wind direction and obstacles. I would also appreciate finding a location to learn closer to home. I cannot afford to drive 6-8 hours in a day to spend 3h learning to kite surf. I live on lake ontario and a lot of people kite-surf in Toronto. I understand the conditions are not ideal but there has to be somewhere along the GTA waterfront with decent conditions for beginners.

Kitesurfing / snowkiting seemed like unbelievably complicated sport... but also - so much fun! Worth taking a few classes so when you put your life in your instructor's hands, and do what's you're told - it happens! I can kite!! Thanks James & Andre

My instructor, Andrei, is a friendly and talented teacher who explained the essential skills of snow kiting in an un-intimidating, practical and fun way. Even though the winds were high that day, Andrei clearly taught me how to quickly deploy the safety systems in case of emergency as well as how to safely launch, land and secure the kite so that I was able to manage the kite feeling confident and being safe. Overall, I would recommend Andrei and this course to anyone who is interested in snow (or water) kiting and would like a clear, concise approach to learning the sport.

I had my classes with James. He was knowledgeable and made sure we were following all safety protocols. material was good. Because it was self taught, there was no facility and wind was not cooperating, it was hard to find the right time and place for the lesson. that is one I scored 2 on the facility, but I am happy with everything else.

Andrei took care of making sure we got the basics covered and went step by step . This was a very windy day and I felt completely secured the whole time. Even though there was a lot of icy patches I managed to get through the course objectives, even going above the one I set to myself. Thanks iKiye and Andrei. This was a big step forward today for me.

I found Andrei to be exceptional at many things but most notably is his patience, emphasis on safety, and the importance of respecting shared spaces with other kiters. I highly recommend anyone to take the full 3-day course as the technical and easily forgotten key elements are appropriately reinforced.
