I took the 3-day course at the kite center and really enjoyed it. I had no previous kitesurfing experience, but the instructors explained everything really clearly and made it easy to follow. The first day was all about learning to handle the kite, and already on the second day I got on the board and even managed to stand up once. By the end of the lessons I was able to ride in both directions with control. The instructors and staff were super friendly and supportive the whole time – definitely a great place to learn!

For a longer time I had the wish to start kite-surfing..... now on Zanzibar was the right time and tight place. Perfect beach / water conditions and time to start taking my first lessons. In 3 days I learned the basics and I hope to continue kite-surfing when I am back home. Kite Center Zanzibar was a nice kite school. Plesant people, good and patient instructor. Equipment was fine..... I had a great time. Thanks.

I had an amazing experience learning to kite surf here! The staff is incredibly professional and welcoming, creating a safe and supportive environment for beginners. The gear is top-notch, and the overall vibe is fantastic. Highly recommend this school for anyone looking to learn or improve their kite surfing skills!

Paje - Zanzibar is known for its abundance of kiting schools. It might be difficult to chose the right one and I am glad we went with recommendation to try Kite Centre Zanzibar. The owner Baris is extremely friendly yet focused and was able to schedule us immediately as per our needs, It was an utmost pleasure to deal with him, we felt safe and in good hands. We had to reschedule one class and it was not an issue at all, he took promptly care of everything. Just as a small business shall be - we felt immediately "at home". Our instructor MOE is a wonderful teacher: he was calm, patient and knowledgeable. We progressed very quickly; he always made sure all was safe, well understood and made us feel comfortable even when transitioning into more complex skills. We felt in love with kiting again thanks to him. He raised our levels of confidence tremendously and we cannot wait to be back for more upskill sessions at Kite Centre Zanzibar with Baris and Moe. I did my Basic Training in Kitesurfing in the Kite Center in Zanzibar. I can only say good things about my trainer and the school. they are very professional. Security is a big thing with them. My teacher/trainer was not only technically very good but had a perfect English and have explained every exercise in a way I think a 3 year old would understand. I recommend it. I did a 6h privat course and at the end I was already riding both sides and controllling the speed and the stops without big problems.
