My husband and I spent five days with our kite instructor, since we purchased the 5 day ‘kite, sleep, repeat’ package. The instructor was super motivated to help us learn and made sure we were progressing each day. They made sure we were always safe and in control before progressing to the next step with our kite lessons. By the end we were definitely getting better independent kite control and we were able to ride the boards. It was really fun going out with the boat so we could just keep practicing without interruption.

We spent a week down in Puerto Rico with Dylan and Oscar and Guillo and we had an amazing time! Very professional, and experienced teachers who are willing to help you no matter how difficult it seems.

My wife and I did a few days of courses at Kite Puerto Rico and it was fantastic. Instruction was excellent, conditions were perfect and the water was beautiful. We've been bitten by the bug really hard and want to progress to independent riders and take it all over!

Dylan Shewfelt is a great instructor at a fantastic location in Puerto Rico. Exceptional at helping with progression. Had a range of high quality equipment options for me (I am 210 lbs) and quickly adjusted during changing wind conditions. Overall a great experience!

You have great instructors, they are professional and do not hold you back. The staff at the shop are great as well, Francisco is really pleasant, flexible and always try to help you. Guillo the instructor was enthusiastic, and a real professional. My 14 years old son improved really fast in 3 days, @3h/day he was able to learn all the basics, body drag, ride the board and the last day could come back upwind. They made him an independent kiter and he can now join me when i kite without me having to worry about him. Overall a great school with a fantastic spot to learn. Thanks Dylan.

Dylan and Bailey were great, very professional and kind! This was my first kite surfing lesson and I'm very grateful for in-depth instructions. I look forward to continuing to better my skills when the winds are not good for surfing!

Dylan and the rest of the crew at Kite Puerto Rico worked hard to make my experience improving my kiteboarding skills reach beyond my greatest expectations. Not to mention the spot itself in San Juan, Puerto Rico, is epic with 15+ knots every day and blue Caribbean waters. The vast skills and overall kiteboarding knowledge that Dylan offers to students is truly impressive. Ocean Beach in San Juan is the perfect place to learn to kite surf. There's a great lateral-to-on-shore wind, the water is warm, there's plenty of beach to spread out on, and Dylan was a fabulous instructor who explains everything very clearly and lets you take the reins at your own speed. Highly, highly recommended. Thanks Dylan!
