IKO Instructors can only certify students from non-IKO Instructors after evaluating their kiteboarding level.
A student feedback request is automatically sent each time you certify a student.When you certify a student, the system logs your teaching hours and the student’s number.At the time a student sends his feedback, you will receive this in your profile rating and reviews. This will have an influence on your vote.It may take 1-2 days before you receive the student feedback in your profile because IKO reviews and approves student feedback before posting to your profile. To certify a student, follow these four steps.
1. Log in to your account and go to “Students” tab.
2. Pick and click the course, "Kiteboarder."
3. Fill out and submit the online certification form. Students you have certified will be notified automatically by email.
You can use certification credits of the school you are working at.To do this, your school must add you as a team member first. Find how to be added as a team member here.Then, when you fill in the online form to certify your student. You have the option to use the school credit by selecting, "school working at." The school name you are working at must be displayed here. By submitting the student certification, the system will use the school credit instead of your personal credit.
All feedback and reviews are used in the rating system to classify instructors.
Feedback appears in the rating.
Reviews appear only if students agree. Students can decide to make their reviews private.
