Aaron Knoll

I intended on going to Paracas to work with an instructor for a day or two, then go out by myself for the remainder of the week. That changed quickly after working with Aaron Knoll. I've been trying to learn to kitesurf for about a year now and I really wish I met Aaron sooner. Aaron's best attributes are his patience and ability to adapt to your learning style. He realized quickly that I am a visual learner and started explaining techniques to me in ways that no other instructor had before. From the time you set foot into the kiteschool for the day, until you get your gear packed up, he is there with you and helping in every imaginable way. Do yourself a favor and locate Aaron and sign up for lessons. Not only will you save time and money, you will come away a much better kitesurfer, with making a new friend as well.

Kangaroo Kite Perú was excellent. They provided everything, the conditions were ideal for learning, and the equipment was in great shape. I trained with two instructors, Lisa and Aaron, and both were fantastic. They immediately spotted what I was doing wrong, which made it easy to make real-time corrections and real-time improvements. My only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer — which says a lot about how good the experience was. I’ll definitely be back in Paracas and at Kangaroo Kite Perú the next chance I get.

I enjoyed all my lessons with Aaron. He is really a patient and supportive instructor. He immediately saw what I needed and what kind of a learner I was. Gave clear and supportive directions, was very patient with me and made me feel very motivated by highlighting positivity and making progressive comments, adjusting my moves. His friendly but respectful attitude kept the lessons focused and therefore I improved very fast in few lessons.
