I was so impressed with Laurel Eastman Kite school. From the very first email interactions they were professional, informative, helpful with orienting me to the area great restaurants and hotels etc. the school is clean, professional up to date, very welcoming. Equipment is all new, well maintained, and in excellent condition. I felt very safe learning under their supervision for both myself and my son. They did an excellent job and will have my business again on future returns.

I went to the Dominican Republic for a vacation and to learn to kiteboard. I was lucky enough to take my lessons with Raul at Laurel Eastman Kiteboarding. All of the staff were friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. The facilities and equipment were great and the beach is unbelievable! Raul is an excellent instructor. He's patient, teaches things in a way that I could understand and follow, is very knowledgeable, and a funny, all around great guy. Due to a lack of wind on a few days, I wasn't able to kite as much as I wanted, but the time that I got with Raul was super helpful and set a strong foundation for further learning. This was my first time kiteboarding and thanks to Raul and LEK, I was able to get a lot farther along than I thought I would. I plan to continue to learning kiteboarding and will hopefully be able to return to the DR soon. I highly recommend LEK if you're in the DR looking for a place to learn or improve your kiteboarding.

My husband and I couldn't have had a better experience at the LEK Kiteboarding School. The teachers are absolutely excellent, the school is world-class, and I would give it 10 stars across the board if I could. Thank you Laurel and your amazing team for creating such a wonderful place and community for kiters to learn, feel welcome, and become inspired.

I really appreciated my experience with both the school and the teacher. Everybody was always doing their best to satisfy us in any way possible and find solutions when needed, what i really appreciated. Raul was very patient, helpful and the explanations and guidance he gave during the lessons were really good and adapted to what i needed. I couldn't be happier about this experience, it was a lot of fun and i feel like I had all the space necessary to improve and get better skills in kitesurfing fast. Keep the good energy guys, you're awesome !

I highly recommend LEK. All the staff were incredibly friendly, knowledgable and helpful and the lessons were reasonably priced. Raul was a great teacher and very patient. I will definitely be back to LEK!
