Prima volta sul kite super goduta, merito della preparazione del mio istruttore, che grazie alla sua esperienza e pazienza, con facilità e sicurezza sono riuscito ad imparare le cose fondamentali e non solo. Insegnamento molto chiaro e comprensibile soprattutto per un neofita, super disponibile e con tanti suggerimenti per facilitare il tutto. Con lui impossibile annoiarsi ed arrendersi.

I met Alex at the Spot in Talamone, we talked about kiting and because of his kind advices i decided to make my course with him. While the course we had a lot of fun in the wather whit jokes and practicing. Alex explains very easy so that i was able to improve my water start and driving in only one hour. This made me very happy and i really enjoyed the time out in the water with him.

Alex is exactly the kind of guy you want to teach you kiteboarding: very precise and heaps of fun. He made sure I could do all the key kite flying tricks before hitting the water, which made bodydragging a breeze. Highly recommend.

Alex did a great job at teaching us! Since we never laid hand on a kite before, he explained the physics and dynamics behind the kite, the lines and the harness. Once in the water we never felt unsafe thanks to Ricardo in our support boat. One small drawback: The equipment of the school (all but the kites and bars and the boat) is old and worn. We can absolutely recommend going to Boavista Kite and will come back asap!

I always wanted to try Kiteboarding and decided to try it on Lake Garda as I heard about the reliable winds there. Also, I live in the USA, but I am Italian and come to Italy to visit family, so perfect combination for me. I had an amazing experience in my 3 days at Wind Riders. I was assigned to a single instructor, Alex Mirabella and did all my lessons with him. He was a very patient and knowledgeable teacher, very concerned about safety. I spoke with Alex in Italian, but he absolutely fluent in English( he has lived in Australia and other English speaking countries), so we could have communicated in either language. I wanted to try kiteboarding, but my initial expectations were low, as I am a little older than a typical person starting the sport and also I know a lot of people who have tried a few times and gave up. I was surprised with myself ,as, after 3 days, I started to believe that I may actually be able to do this with a few more lessons, thanks to Alex's skills as an instructor. I was sad I had to leave, but plan to return to it. I think it is absolutely essential for people to take lessons. The learning is much more efficient. Alex is a great teacher and I strongly recommend him .

I went to Lake Garda for a full day of lessons with Alex Mirabella. To say the least, Alex was clear and empathetic. He was able to quickly teach the most important aspects by not discharging any safety measure. It was my very first day with a Kite and I was able to stand on the board after 2 and a half hours. The course was great! The instructor knew perfectly what he was doing which gave me the confidence to enjoy the whole class. By being friendly yet professional, Alex helped take away the irrational fears I had. He was able to explain the must-know theoretically but was great at helping us do the practice by ourselves. At the end of the day, I realized how much I had enjoyed the whole experience.

Alex è stato molto chiaro nelle spiegazioni e nei momenti di difficoltà è riuscito a farmi divertire comunque e aver raggiunto gli obbiettivi prefissati è stata una grande soddisfazione! Quando non c'era vento è stato molto disponibile alle mie domande e di piacevole compagnia! Una bella esperienza e la nascita di una bella amicizia!

I attended the kite course in Safaga (Egypt) at Pro Kite Villa School and it was fantastic. My teacher Alex was very professional and precise in his explanations so that in 3 days of practice I was able to safely prepare the kite, make body drag with and without board and finally how to waterstart.
