I was so nervous about trying kitesurfing and David made it all better! David explained all the safety priorities many times which really helped with my apprehensions of flying away in the air! David is super patient and we have many good laugh. I never had a bad experience in the water and while I didn’t manage to get out of the water fully I m definitely determined to try again!

David was a very good instructor, he is very helpful in teaching me good safe skills to further my progress in the sport. I really appreciate his patience and support throughout the entire process. David was so good at teaching all the safety aspects of kiting, and then the riding as well. It was great to feel competent and comfortable instead of terrified. He was great with my son too, who was already a kiter but needed some work on self-launching and landing at the beach at the end of the day, and also got great tips and flying the kite better and jumping. David is very passionate about everything kiting, safety to jumping. I highly recommend him as an excellent instructor and person.

I have been going to Baja Joe's for 3 years now. This lesson was great as a recap and some more advanced safety practices which made me feel much more confident kiting safely. David was a great and clear instructor. Highly recommend taking a lesson from him.

This was my first ever kiteboarding lesson and I was convinced I would be bored during the safety instructions portion of the learning :) My instructor David did a fantastic job explaining why this portion was so important and made it really interesting and easy to understand/follow. During the entire lesson, the level of attention and personalized instruction was top notch. David was very patient and encouraging throughout. Kiteboarding can be a dangerous sport but I felt very safe the entire time - even in the water. As a bonus, he captured some really great photos/videos of the experience on his GoPro for me. Overall, I would definitely recommend Elevation and David to anyone interested in giving this sport a try!

I've been taking lessons from Elevation Kiteboarind in La Ventana sporadically for the past 15 years. Every instructor (and management) has been very thorough with attention to detail and safety, which brings a much better level of comfort to beginners. I especially want to thank David for spending the time and patience with me this year to finally get me over the hump and become certified as Independent!

Yuckite is a well established school that provides all the elements for a good class in either sea or lake depending on conditions. David is a very patient and dedicated instrutor that gave me great tips to help me learn.

He was very patient, clear, and gave me the information in a way that was effective. I had a lot of fun while learning !! David is a very nice guy and made the class a great experience!! Can’t wait to learn more!

Great way to learn step by step. All security is explained and reminded all the time so we feel comfortable and know how to react if any unplanned situation occurs. My teacher was so great at explaining that I was progressing quickly. I do not know if we can recommend teachers but David is amazing.
