This is my second time with South Florida Kiteboarding School, this time I brought my son which learned faster then I did my first time, his instructor was Melissa Mejia and mine was Roberto Molina again, learning kiteboarding with my son was an amazing experience, thanks to the two instructors that taught us safety and quality of kiteboarding.

South Florida Kiteboarding School was amazing, I met excellent instructors and new kiteboarders, my instructor was Roberto Molina and I learned so much from his experience. I knew I had to continue my training here, so next time I’ll bring my son to learn.

South Florida Kiteboarding is an amazing place to start your kiteboarding journey. Melissa and her team provide world class instruction to get you up and riding as quickly and safely as possible. They have an amazing spot on a sandbar which provides additional safety while allowing you to advance much faster than on a beach. I highly recommend learning with them!

I have taken many lessons now with South Florida Kiteboarding and they have truly made my experience of learning to kite unforgettable. Super kind and knowledgeable instructors with a saftey/rescue boat made me feel super safe throughout the experience. Their instructors helped me level up SO quickly from learning to stay up wind to getting big air!

Top of the line school in South Florida. Melissa and crew are enthusiastic, professional, patient, and eager to share their stoke for the sport. Each and every one involved in her operation is first class and puts the safety of their students as first priority.

I've taken lessons with a few companies across the world, and South Florida Kite is by far the best. The kite conditions 20 minutes off the dock in Miami are excellent for learning, as you have no waves, consistent wind, and a sandbed/reef to stand on. The staff is super friendly, instructors are great, and the walkie talkie system for in-lesson instruction works well. The fully stocked mini-fridge for post-kite beers is an added bonus!

I have kited with shops all over the world and these folks provided the most organized and efficient experience yet. It seems especially good for beginners as they work from a submerged sandbar so no beaches to get drug onto. For me as an experienced kiter looking to just cruze a new area it was great because after the boat ride out, our equipment was already rigged by team members that headed out on an earlier boat. You just pick a board and a kite and go. Super friendly owner and staff.

I had the best time. I have been working with South Florida Kiteboarding every chance I get for a while. I now have finally had a couple of sessions that I totally had a blast. All the equipment was perfect, and I had the skills to go where I wanted, be safe around other kiters, and control my speed to just slow down be comfortable and ride for the entire session. I can't wait to go back, and I live 1,000 miles away.

South Florida kiteboarding continues to lead the way with quality instruction, staff, top of line equipment and the best spot in the country. I value my instruction from them and the passion they have instilled in me for kiting. They are super safe and fun.

The team here did a great job managing a really hectic schedule and kept strong communication. Our reservation got a little bit messed up and they had a can-do attitude and made it work. They were supportive and patient, which is tough when you have a wide range of riders and equipment.
