Had the best time learning how to kitesurf in Zanzibar at Coconuts Kite. The trainers were friendly and incredibly encouraging. I felt supported throughout the entire process. I would recommend this company to anyone traveling to Zanzibar who is looking to pick up a fun hobby!

I took classes with Mageni. He was super patient, reassured me on all the security and safety. I’d definitely go back . The club is right on the beach and depending on the tide you can kite just in front or go a bit further in the lagoon. Equipments were a bit old not an issue for me as a beginner, but may be a concern for people looking for high standards equipment.

I loved doing my course here. Every step was clear, easy and well explained. Safety was always number one so i felt confident advancing in my course knowing i had all the safety protocols well prepared.

Me and my girlfriend were passing by the kiteschool and decided to take lessons the day after. So we contacted the school and they had some space in their schedule. The lessons were a lot of fun and very informative. We have learned a lot! Our instructor was extremely good and we would take another lesson if we are in Zanzibar ever again!

These guys were legends. Well set up, knowledgable, with good equipment, and Emanuel was an excellent coach, really helped push me to learn quickly and understand the dynamics and intricacies, always taking the time to teach me more than necessary to be able to get standing.

Bahama was an excellent kite instructor. In 10 hours, he taught me to ride safely and confidently. Very kind, friendly, and always focused on safety. He understood exactly how I like to learn, was empathetic, and gave me space to really feel and control the kite. Highly recommended.

I recently completed a 10-hour kite introduction course in Tanzania, and it was an absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. I had zero experience going in, but by the end of the course, I was able to start from the water and ride. The instructors were knowledgeable, patient, and clearly passionate about the sport. They broke everything down step by step, starting with kite control on the beach and gradually progressing to body dragging, water starts, and finally riding. Safety was always a top priority, but they also knew how to make the learning process fun and engaging. What made it even more special was the location — the beaches in Tanzania are breathtaking. The warm water, consistent winds, and uncrowded conditions created the perfect environment to learn. Whether you're a complete beginner or just looking to improve your skills, I can't recommend this course enough. It was well-structured, professionally run, and incredibly rewarding.
