The school and equipment made a very good and serious impression to us. Our coach did explain everything from the beginning and we feld safe the whole time. After 9 hours we you’ll both ride both sides and we were quite happy with it!

I had a great experience learning to kitesurf with Hassan at Kite Centre Zanzibar. He’s a great instructor — very positive, clear in his communication. He explains everything step by step, takes time to repeat key points, and builds up the lessons gradually. His coaching style is enthusiastic, honest, and supportive, which really helped me feel confident and make progress. I always felt safe and well-prepared thanks to his expertise. On top of that, there’s a great atmosphere at the kite centre overall — friendly, relaxed, and well-organized. We highly recommend both Hassan and Kite Centre Zanzibar to anyone looking to learn or improve their kitesurfing skills or for renting gear.

Hasan was incredibly dedicated to making everything easy to understand. He explained things multiple times and in different ways to ensure everyone could follow along. He was motivating, patient, and always willing to demonstrate things again if needed. Hasan is a kind-hearted person with a friendly nature, and we felt completely comfortable and well taken care of throughout the course.

Our instructor, Hassan, was very patient with us and used different approaches to explain the techniques, helping us adjust and develop the necessary skills. He never lost his enthusiasm, even when it took us some time to master the next step. Under his supervision and guidance, we progressed from absolute rookies to riding longer distances, even in challenging wind conditions—all within a 3x3-hour beginner course. Big shoutout to him!

I used to be very scared of kitesurfing. I trained in Zanzibar with Hassan and I must say that Hassan is the best. The way he made me feel safe and capable. His patience and commitment was inspiring. I hope to make him proud. Thank you kite centre.

Super kite centre, top equipment and very professional instructors. Hasan was super nice, explained everything really well and was delighted with my progress. I had the perfect kite for every wind. After 5 days I could even ride quite well. My 2 daughters were also super happy with Mo. The conditions in Paje are mega, you can usually still stand up which makes it much easier for a beginner. It was fun 😊

The whole team at Kite centre Zanzibar was excellent in supporting me become a better and more independent kitesurfer. My instructor Hassan was very knowledgeable and really helped me progress through helpful guidance and lots of patience (I'm certainly not a natural...). I particularly liked the fact that the school also had a set up "in land", attached to a tree, where Hassan could show me how to improve my riding posture and where to place my weight in a practical way before each lesson, which made it a lot easier to remember what to do once I was in the water and had more factors to think about. All the equipment was consistently of great quality as well and always ready way before the time my lesson was meant to start - the running of this school is very smooth despite it being a popular spot (kudos to Baris & the team for always being on top of everything and looking after everyone - I would often find him with a pair of binoculars just keeping an eye on everyone in the water). I also particularly liked the way they flexed based on the needs of different riders - I felt like I got the hand-holding I needed to become confident, and my partner (definitely a natural) was supported in his push to become independent as soon as safely possible. They definitely don't drag you to do more lessons than you need just to make more money out of you. For me it was very important to choose an IKO certified school as it is a big reassurance of quality standards. A big plus is that our IKO certifications were promptly updated after our last ride and now we're able to rent equipment anywhere we go which we're very happy about! I've experienced 5 different kitesurfing centres so far across Brazil and Zanzibar and would 10/10 recommend this one to anyone looking to start or progress in their kiteboarding journey. Can't wait to go back!

I had a great time learning to kitesurf with Hassan. He was very knowledgeable and made sure I understood everything. The lessons I had were nice and secure. Thanks to him, I feel confident on the water and I got my certification with confidence. I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting to learn to kitesurf. 5 stars well deserved 👏

Had the best time at this amazing spot in Paje! At different wind-conditions I had the chance to fly different sizes from 7-17 m2. The best about it was my instructor Hassan. He managed to make me feel safe at all times and helped a lot to improve my riding and technic. This dude is always smiling, super chill, yet absolutely professional and attentive. If you you are here and need an instructor for beginners, intermediate or advanced riding, ask for Hassan, he's the right guy ;-) Thanks buddy! ASANTE SANA!!!
