My instructor was really positive and helpful. Constantly encouraging and providing helpful tips and advice to make progress. He taught me how to travel upwind and also how to transition. I am very happy with the progress he helped me achieve.

The lessons with Aiona and Kris, were absolutely great! As all team members of the "Surfers Island Fuerteventura" they were super friendly, knowledgable and willing to answer every single question I had. The step-by-step explanations and gradually added skills during each session gave me a good feeling and confidence to advance from never having tried the sport before to a lot of fun kiting several 100 meters across the lagoon! The team is very caring and very well organized - from providing the equipment, setting it up, explaining theory, ensuring safety, communicating and flexibly addressing your needs! Taking this course was my first touchpoint with kitesurfing and I have to say that it exceeded all my expectations. I had 19 hours with Kris and after every lesson I could see a lot of progress which was super motivating. We started with the basics and ended with doing pops and jumps. So there was always the right amount of challenge and it never became boring. Communication with my instructor was always clear and I knew exactly what to do. What helped me the most was that after each ride Kris showed me how I did it (usually wrong) and how I should do it instead. I think I am hooked on kitesurfing now :) See you on the water. Also thanks to the whole team, the equipment and the support was amazing so we could get the most out of our lessons. Everybody was nice and chill and the vibe was great.

Had a great first kiting experience thanks to Kris and his calm and patient way of teaching. He's very encouraging and has a lot of great tips at hand which makes the hard beginning a lot easier. Great instructor and fun to be around.

I had a fantastic time and learnt a lot. Kris is an excellent instructor. He takes time to explain step by step and makes sure you understood before going further. He’s also very patient which is mandatory as you need time when you begin. He’s very professional but also very friendly and kind person. Thank you Kris for everything!

We booked a 4 day training with Rene Egli. We did not have any kiting experience before. My colleague and I are both above average athletic but it really took us 4 days + 1 private lesson to achieve 3K level. The training sessions are well structured and build up nicely upon each other. This way you are not overwhelmed or get frustrated. The conditions at Sotavento Beach are challenging. Off-shore Wind between 17-30 knots or more and it can be very gusty. Overall it was a great experience. As we can only Kite during vacation I would consider booking one lesson the next time I’m on kiting vacation again. This way I can easily just back into the flow and reestablish the security I wanna have when I am on the water.

I was doing an advanced course to start doind pops, navigating toeside and jump. Kris teached in a very kind way, gradually and effectively. I achieved all my objectives. I have no fear to jump anymore, while before the course I was skeptical to risk jumping.

A professional instructor! If he does something, he does it 100%. He has the ability to communicate with young people. He is patient, it is impossible to get him out of balance. An ambitious instructor with fantasy!

School, service, teachers all was excellent. Great was my teacher Kris, who gave me plenty awesome tips and show me tricks that are perfect. He was always in calm positive mode and energy and this kept me going relax even in some of my tough beginner body dragging moments.
