Armando Canario

I did 5 days of lessons with Armando. He was a clear, patient, but firm teacher. He took me from a complete beginner to being able to reliably kite back and forth. Every day he helped me progress a bit more. It was amazing! I would highly recommend Armando and the school, which is very well organized and full of nice staff members! Learning to kite in a place with tons of wind and waves could definitely have been stressful, but they made it awesome.

During my holidays in Cabarete I started learning kite for the first time at the Laurel Eastman Kiteboarding School with my instructor Armando. I’m so happy with the experience and getting introduced to the kite community there. After 5 classes I was able to learn many skills and ended up doing some waterstarts as well. It definitely feels like I have obtained a good base to continue learning from here on. Great crew and vibe at LEK, hope to be back soon! Very recommended!
