The nice and sandy beach of Mikri Vigla is situated in a bay close Leeward. The wind direction side-side on shore from the right (north) makes this bay a very safe place to start kitesurfing. The strenght of the wind in generated by the high pressure on the Mediterranean sea during the summer (May - October) and the local tradition gave this wind the name "Meltemi". The Meltemi start to blow early in morning and stops at sunset, but many times it doesn't stop even at night. All kiters which are not very experienced will end up downwind on the sandy beach and can walk back easily. Baywatch and safety services are guaranteed by our staff; rescue boat is available. The spot is suitable to good kiters as well as beginners. Our restaurant and bar is open from 9 am till late night to offer you a big variety of dishes cooked in harmony with the Mediterranean flavors and perfect for sporty people.

I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor than Graziano Mariano for my very first kitesurfing lesson in Naxos. From the beginning, he was incredibly friendly, patient and professional. I was honestly quite scared at first, but Graziano took his time, never rushed me and made me feel completely comfortable and confident. His teaching technique is excellent, and I learnt so much in such a short time. The highlight was actually managing to get up on the board, something I never imagined I’d achieve on my first lesson! That moment really made my holiday special. Graziano, thank you for your patience, encouragement and fantastic teaching. You made this an unforgettable experience. I hope our paths cross again somewhere around the world! Highly recommended to anyone wanting to learn kitesurfing!

I had such an amazing experience! I started literally from zero, and thanks to such a patient, encouraging, and fun instructor, I got almost to an independent level by the end of my lessons. Every session was so much fun, I learned a lot, and I always felt safe and supported. And as a perfect ending, I even got the coolest ride ever-basically flying across the water like a backpack on his back 😁😁😁 Absolutely unforgettable and sooooo much fun! Well,so happy to share this experience, the lesson I had with Graziano was the best choice. I recently took kitesurfing lessons with Graziano at Flisvos in Mikri Vigla and couldn't be happier.
