Zusammenfassung
Wir befinden uns neben der Schnellstraße Nr. 86 in der Stadt Tainan im Süden Taiwans. Der Strand hier ist breit und sandig und die Verkehrsanbindung zwischen dem Stadtzentrum und dem Strandbereich ist sehr gut. Wir sind der erste Kitesurfing-Club in Taiwan seit 2004 mit mehr als 30 aktiven Mitgliedern; 8 von uns haben den Examiner Xavier Roussos nach Taiwan eingeladen und alle von uns haben den IKO Instructor Level 1 im Jahr 2011 bestanden, und 2 von uns unterrichten Kitesurfen mehr als 10 Jahre bis heute. In diesen Jahren haben wir uns mit der Stadtverwaltung von Tainan zusammengetan und beschlossen, eine IKO-Schule zu gründen, um mehr Werbung für Strandaktivitäten und olympische Kitesurfing-Rennen zu machen. Wir bieten Kitesurfing-Lessens und Materialverleih an, in Zukunft werden wir auch Kite-Foiling und Wind-Foiling-Lessens anbieten. Lehrer Kyle (ich) spricht Englisch und Chinesisch, ich unterrichte hauptsächlich englischsprachige Schüler aus der ganzen Welt seit 2011.
Kurs und Anleitung
Kitesurfing Courses: Teach people follow IKO standard to become an independent kitesurfer. We will provide insurance and every safety equipment during the teaching courses. This course will teach people know the wind theory, the weather, the equipments, the function and how to use quick release system, kite control, riding techniques; Building up the skill to solve problems on the land and ocean.Ausrüstung
Our teaching equipment are as follow 1. Personal Safety equipments: Different sizes of helmets, floating vests, harnesses with cutters and kite leashes. 2. Kites: We have inflatable kites with funtional depower/quick release bar from 4m~19m (Cabrinha, some are F-one, CORE, Dutone and flysurfer). We also have foil trainer kites (flysurfer VIRON) for extreme light wind day; regular foil kites ex: flysurfer soul2, Sonic, VMG for kite foiling training. 3. Communication: We use BBtalkins for water lessens. 4. Boards: around 10 traing twintip boards Size form 128~158cm (Cabrinha, Airush, Flysurfer..). Five F-one foil board for beginners and three Levitaz Aspec2 for intermediate. 5. One 4~6 seats rescue boat with a Yahama 684K 15 hours power motor. 6. Four rescue SUPs 7. One ATVBeste Saison
The weather here is mostly worm and sunny. I would say the best season is from September ~ March or April. The wind is stronger in the winter and lighter in summer. The wind in summer is 6~15knots. The temperature in summertime is hot, usually 30~37 Celsius. During summer time we have some typhoons here but not much, sometimes one day before the typhoon the wind is very good. Summer time is also our raining season but the raining season is short and the raining day is the only the day we don’t go the beach. In summer time we often do kite-foiling and wind-foiling with foil kites. Autumn the north-wind start coming and the wind is getting stronger in autumn and winter. The wind is 10~20 knots sometimes above 20~25 knots in the winter. The temperature in Autumn is still very worm and no wetsuit needed. The temperature in winter is around 15~25 Celsius and 5~15 Celsius when cold front comes. We need 3mm wetsuit in the winter, 5mm is uncommon and boots and gloves is not necessary. Generally, we can do kitesurfing nearly every day.Einrichtungen
