Aija is the most fun and supportive trainer. She expects her trainees to succeed, and does her job easily and without pressure. Even when it feels like i'm stuck in my growth, she keeps saying her "LIELISKI" and you just can't stop smiling while moving forward. Step by step, day by day I reached the goals I set for myself for our kite camp.

Aija & Co care about their trainees, environment and the community - it shows! Patience and the right amount of encouragement got me over the line. An old dog can learn a new trick after all! Some of the best memories made during the camp, in the water and out.

Renars was an amazing teacher! He explained everything very well and provided the perfect balance of teaching and letting me practice without micromanaging. I feel like he is very adaptive to a students knowledge and skill level which makes it fun to learn and stick with the sport. Thanks for introducing me into kiteboard world!!! Felix

Great school, with awesome kite instructors! I really enjoyed the kite camps all around the world- Sri Lanka, Sicily… etc. Would recommend Vējā for anyone who is interested in kitesurfing.

These were my first steps in kiteboarding and I was very happy and pleased by instructors approach to lessons. Everything was explained very thoroyghly, simply but in appropriate terminology. All safety measures were strictly put in use at all times. The provided equipment was in good condition and suitable. Gave me very strong base in kiteboarding, thank You :)

I have tried several kitboarding schools - in Tenerife and Fuerteventura and in Latvia and can confirm, that the Latvian kiteboarding school Vējā with the lead/senior instructor Aija Ambrasa has been the best. Aija and her team provides a top quality attention in terms of attitude, equipment, instructions and supervision under the sessions. Aija is also very supportive and assists with advice during the individual progression.

I had basic kite knowlege when I took skill refreshment course with Aija. She has very good undertsanding of kite safety, kite control and a methodical way of teching. Helped me with good pointers for progression with backroll, frontroll and other tricks.

I love learning new things - and this experience amplified that love! Safety and fundamentals were of paramount importance - and reflection on what was being learning in real time helped with retention and upskilling quickly.

Great experience with a great teacher! Managed to learn all safety protocols and handle kite in different situations. Later, we took the classes in water at which I was taught to make my first rides on board. Finally, I and Aija discussed all the details on perfect riding techniques. Aija is a talented, friendly, and easy-going teacher. I would recommend her to others. :)
