First deaf Instructor certified by IKO

4 years ago, Riccardo learned how to kiteboard not knowing what adventure this would lead him into.
Back in October 2016, he successfully completed his IKO Instructor Training Course- with a unique project in mind!
Riccardo is IKO’s first Deaf Instructor, who is now sharing his passion and opening up the kiteboarding world to other deaf individuals from around the globe doing courses completely in sign language.
So far Riccardo has taught and certified 5 new kiters who otherwise would have never considered to kite or been able to easily learn previously.
