Safety and education have always been at the core of IKO and we’re closely following the latest guidelines set by the World Health Organization to deal with the coronavirus. 

We highly recommend you cancel kitesurf trips in zones impacted by the coronavirus. We also recommend you exercise prudence while kiting in these zones. In the event of an accident, getting medical care could be difficult because hospitals may be saturated. 

All IKO centers and instructors must follow recommendations from the WHO and from local authorities and cancel courses when necessary. 

If you’ve booked a pro-course in an impacted zone, please contact the organizer to see if the course has been canceled. If the course has been canceled, the fees paid directly to IKO can be applied to another pro-course at any time in the future.
