| Become a Powerkite Instructor
The IKO power kite scheme is a great opportunity to not only attract more students from a wider spectrum into your schools, but also through working to the IKO power kite standards to bring a higher level of skill and safety into our sport at a 'grassroots' level.
IKO kiteboard or snowkite instructors can follow an IEC and start teaching power kiting as well!

Prerequisites to become power kite instructor
- Be at least 18 years old
- Hold a valid first aid qualification
- Have at least 6 months power kite experience
- Hold IKO power kite card or prove equivalent level
How to enroll in a course?
Make sure you meet the prerequisites and have the necessary documents. Check the training calendar now for ITCs happening soon in your area, then download, fill in and sign the ITC candidate waiver form and send along with the supporting documents to the ITC organizer.
