IKO Re-establishes Premium Kiteboard Insurance to U.S. Members

IKO’s kiteboard insurance program for its USA members has been restored and improved. You may have noticed, the USA insurance coverage was interrupted briefly while the IKO and Sportsinsurance.com worked tirelessly to come up with a policy that honors the commitment IKO Members make to adhere to the IKO Safety Standards, and to cover all unique kiteboarding activities, levels as well as risk factors.

Now, USA IKO Kiteboard Members can use the IKO online feature to apply for this revamped policy. New policies are available at the same rate as last year with no premium increase. Policies offer unmatched competitive rates with the most comprehensive general liability, medical and dental coverage of up to $1,000,000 for each kiteboarding incident.

Kiteboard riders located in the U.S. are eligible. These policies are unique and available only to IKO members. Coverage benefits include liability, medical and even dental. Each kiteboard related incident is covered up to $1,000,000.
