Yes he can, as long as he respects the teaching and safety standards as an independent instructor and continues to validate his students with the IKO Kiteboarder Card. The IKO strongly recommends the instructor purchases his own insurance coverage since there is no guarantee what kind of insurance the school he will work for has.
